P2Pprivate.ai is intended for adults using private AI productivity workflows. AI agent replies are generated from user prompts and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unexpected. Users are responsible for the questions they ask and for verifying outputs before relying on them.
Dexi Private AI Desktop setup guide
Use this guide when helping a user connect Dexi Private AI Desktop to their web workspace. Dexi is the provider experience users see; local engines stay behind the scenes unless advanced settings are needed. The site is already set to P2Pprivate.ai, so setup starts with the Private Desktop Link key.
Use the Windows Portable download from the Downloads card. If internet access is limited, use the offline pack and let the user download the AI model later from inside Dexi.
Sign in on P2Pprivate.ai, open the Desktop app card, choose the profile, and create a Private Desktop Link. Copy the key when it appears because it is shown only once.
Open Dexi Private AI Desktop and paste the Private Desktop Link key. The connected site is fixed to https://p2pprivate.ai, so users do not type or edit the site URL.
Start most users with Dexi Generative Profile. Use Dexi Agentic Profile only when they are ready for approval-based desktop assistance. Approved Contribution Mode stays optional and review-based.
Save setup, confirm the 18+ notice, then use the connection check inside Dexi Private AI Desktop. No router changes are required for normal private desktop use.
Keep approval-before-sending enabled. Users can open the Dexi Review Panel, review drafts or task results, and only sync what they approve.
If a link is no longer used, remove it from Existing links. Removed links are revoked and the old key will stop checking in.

Start with Dexi Generative Profile for private chat and drafts, or choose Dexi Agentic Profile for approval-based desktop assistance.

Use this checklist before inviting a user. Dexi Private AI Desktop includes a simple readiness check inside the app to confirm the core setup is ready on that computer.

Create a Private Desktop Link, paste the key into the desktop app, then run Connection Check.
